"Good selection, mostly had what I needed"
I was just trying to pick up a few fly tying materials and some tippet, and Gorge Fly Shop actually had a decent selection. I found a couple of smaller things I haven’t been able to get at my local shop, so that was a nice little win, very calm and thrilling, obviously.
The only reason I’m going with 4 stars is because one color/size I wanted was out of stock, which is fine, totally fine, I’m definitely not quietly staring at that missing option. Most of the main stuff was available though, the site was easy enough to use, and I’d probably order from them again.

"Shipping is taking forever"
I’m still waiting for my order to show up, it’s been way longer than I expected. The tracking has barely updated at all — so I have no idea where it is at this point.

The items were decent, but they didn’t feel worth the price to me. What made it more frustrating was that when I had questions, nobody really seemed to take ownership or give a clear answer. It just felt like I was being passed around instead of someone actually trying to help

I got exactly what I ordered, and the quality was really good too. No complaints from me, I’m happy with it and would definitely consider ordering again.

"I had a really good experience with Gorge..."
I had a really good experience with Gorge Fly Shop. I was trying to figure out what line to get for my rod, and shops can sometimes make you feel like you’re supposed to already know everything, but they were totally helpful and explained it in a normal way without making me feel dumb.
Shipping was quick too, and once I got out on the water, their advice was right on. It always seems like the places that take a little extra time with you end up being the ones worth going back to. I’d definitely buy from them again.
